First of all a Happy New Year to you and I wish you a very successful 2012.
Second, I am deeply concerned and saddened by a situation with my personal friend, and friend of UAP Tradelocks, Richard Breslin. This concerns the circulation by a person, as yet unknown, of an extremely sick nature. This letter was sent out to land on peoples mats on New Year’s Eve, including Richard’s locksmith peers, suppliers, neighbours etc. It goes without saying that the contents of that letter are false, and the person(s) responsible need to be sought out and brought to justice.
I have advised Richard that UAP Tradelocks not only supports him fully but that we will back his attempt to find the perpetrator(s) of this vicious and nasty slur. To that end, I will personally pay anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible £5,000 in cash from my own pocket. We have suspicions as to who the perpetrator(s) of this nasty campaign is/are. This person/people, deserve no hiding place, and they deserve no loyalty. They need to be weedled out, arrested, prosecuted and then sued. I invite anyone reading this email to support my campaign for justice for Richard and add to the reward pot. Letter from Richard Breslin…
Hi Guys.
I’m very sorry I have to write to you all in this manner.
As you may be aware I’m very active on Twitter, social media and voice my concerns on fake training orgs and associations. Over the last few months I, along with a few others, have directed our concerns at a certain “Locksmiths Association & Trainer” – the poor training, fake association, lack of support, duping public and honest people out of money, lack of ethics and false hopes.
It seems now that I have been targeted with a very hateful, malicious and evil mail campaign. Maybe from a disgruntled member, or from a head of the association, I am not sure so cannot say 100% at the present moment in time. This is not the normal run of the mill but something that has a dark twist. This is a very disgusting and an unbelievable thing that no one would ever want to be accused of.
My family are extremely upset and disturbed that there are these sort of people in the industry. The letters contain a photo of me at work with text next to it stating a very nasty, vile and disgusting message. The mail that was sent to every address in my street was fortunately intercepted and we have all of them. Only two were opened up. The letters are white with 2nd class stamps, addressed with no name. These have been sent from a Cambridge sorting office. PLEASE DO NOT OPEN THESE as opening may compromise the evidence inside. I am trying to collect as many unopened as I can as the ones I have so far have been sent to the police and will be tested.
I have contacted the MLA and Steffan George is posting up a message on MLA forum as are the ICL. I stress that this is a malicious disgusting evil person that has done this! I also stress that I will find this person and expose them for who they are!
I am not sure how many letters were sent out but I have been informed some people I know in trade have received one. It seems as though trade trainers, associations and suppliers are the ones most likely to receive a letter.
