Lishi Workshop #2

The TradeLocks Open Weekend saw locksmiths from across the United Kingdom flock to UAP Limited to partake in informative, invaluable cylinder re-pinning classes and hands-on uPVC door opening demonstrations, all of which were completely FREE of charge. It was a rare and golden opportunity for both eager amateurs and qualified professionals to showcase their skills and learn a thing or two from respected industry greats such as Martin Pink, Chris Belcher and the Master of Lishi himself, Pat McGinn (pictured below).

In fact; Lishi-picking workshops proved to be the highlight of the entire weekend for some, as more than a few locksmiths decided to make an appearance at the TradeLocks Open Weekend with the explicit intention of gaining inside knowledge from someone who is widely regarded as a leading authority when it comes to all Lishi-related matters, namely Mr McGinn. These Lishi-picking workshops had been created specifically so that everyone can get involved in the action, and this was indeed the case at the TradeLocks Open Weekend as young and old alike got stuck in and had a go at attempting to tackle tricky tasks using top of the range Genuine Lishi tools.

As well as Lishi-picking lessons, locksmiths were also invited to participate in a range of courses designed to improve their abilities and perfect their performance. Speed and efficiency are key qualities of a decent locksmith service, as well as professionalism and competence, which is why so many people jumped at the chance to hone their skills without having to pay a single penny for the privilege. Lishi-picking classes were made all the more interesting and hands-on at the TradeLocks Open Weekend as you were able to test out equipment on live vehicles, in order to guarantee a realistic experience.

These automobiles comprised of a Nissan Qashqai, a Vauxhall Corsa and Vauxhall Combo van, as these three models are completely different to one another, thus making for an enlightening and educational experience. Each make of car has their very own individual Lishi lockpicking device, such as the Nissan tool pictured below, so you need to be well-versed in the mechanics of Lishi in order to be considered a force to be reckoned with in the locksmith trade.

If you own a locksmithing company or are just starting out and want to make sure that you are doing everything correctly-including handling and operating tools effectively and efficiently-then Lishi-picking demonstrations will help your cause greatly. This is one of the main reasons why it is so important to take any advice and assistance from those who have years of experience in Lishi-picking, and there is no one more established and reputable than Pat McGinn.

Over a hundred locksmiths turned up at the TradeLocks Open Weekend, and the majority came down primarily to get their hands on the latest, must-have Genuine Lishi equipment. There was, of course, a delicious hog roast to sample and a FREE beer tent if you needed some liquid refreshment, but the main draw was most definitely our fantastic Lishi-picking courses.
