We have stepped up the marketing for our retail brand MAX6MUM SECURITY® with the aim of establishing the brand as the “go to” for security and safety solutions.
The last month has seen some new developments for MAX6MUM SECURITY® with the launch of the new consumer website and the introduction of two new characters to the MAX6MUM SECURITY® family. We have also recently run a radio campaign to promote the Baby and Child Window-Safe™ Restrictor and are now sponsoring the Smooth Radio North West Toy Appeal.
We have given the MAX6MUM SECURITY® website a make-over to not only make it more user friendly and informative for consumers, but to also make it more beneficial to stockists.
On the new site visitors can find out all about the products in the MAX6MUM SECURITY® range including how they help to prevent different burglary methods, how to install them and where they can buy them.
The website has an up-to date list of all current MAX6MUM SECURITY® stockists; visitors simply need to put in their postcode to find their nearest stockist.
The website is jam packed with new features such as videos, more detailed product details, information on Nanocoast® and a “design your door” application.
Visitors can also sign up to our mailing list to receive up to date news, promotions and home safety and security tips.

Meet the MAX6 Babies
The new characters are Max’s twin tots, one boy and one girl, the name of the twins will be revealed soon. The twins will feature on all marketing material relating to the restrictor and will star in a thirty second animated advert which is due for completion next month.
The babies represent most young children who are curious and just discovering their feet. They are often unaware of the dangers surrounding them and that is why it can be so easy for a child to fall from a window and why it is essential that restrictors are fitted.
The twins can already be seen on the new MAX6MUM SECURITY® website and the MAX6MUM SECURITY® Facebook, Twitter and YouTube pages.
We’ve got Smooth Christmas Spirit
We’re getting into the spirit of giving this festive season and are sponsoring Smooth Radio’s 2013 North West Toy Appeal. From 2009-2012 the toy appeal has delivered an estimated 4,000 toys to hospitals, including the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospitals, children’s homes and local children’s charities across the North West.
As part of the sponsorship MAX6MUM SECURITY® features in promotional trails which started on Monday 11th November and will run for over six weeks on Smooth Radio, Real Radio and Real XS. To coincide with the toy appeal we are also running a heavyweight airtime campaign promoting security over Christmas and a digital campaign that will see us take over the Smooth Radio Homepage for one week as well as web banners on the site and a microsite promoting the Baby and Child Window-Safe® Restrictor.
The decision to sponsor the Smooth Radio Toy Appeal came following the success of our recent airtime campaign which saw an increase in the amount of visitors to the MAX6MUM SECURITY® website. Smooth have also done some fantastic work over the years ensuring that children who may not normally get a present have something to open on Christmas morning.
The UAP team has also been getting into the spirit by bringing in toys for the appeal.
