UAP MAX6MUM SECURITY Win Double Silver at Totally Tools

The Totally Tools show was a big success for UAP MAX6MUM SECURITY, which was at the Ricoh Arena from Sunday 16th Feb – Tuesday 18th Feb 2014. The show allowed us to show off our brand new range of blister packed architecturally specified door hardware and security products. Many retailers visited the stand, and many people took up the unique opportunity to play table football against former Leeds United and England legends Norman Hunter and Paul Reaney and former Welsh Captain Terry Yorath.

At the show, we were entered into the New Product Showcase, and as a result we became Silver Award winners in two categories – Best Hardware Product and Best Security Product, with our easy fit hidden fix door knocker and identity card entry slot:

Silver Award Winner – Best Hardware Product

door knocker back selfad226pxThe MAX6MUM SECURITY 6 inch Victorian hidden fix door knocker has been engineered with Patented technology and means that no bolts are visible on the inside of the door, giving a much cleaner and smoother look with no unslighty fixings. It works by sticking the ‘lollipop’ onto the front of the door, and securing it using screws. The door knocker has an industrial closed cell foam tape on, which not only secures the knocker to the door, but is also watertight, and stops water getting behind the knocker to prevent rusting. The knocker is then clicked into the ‘lollipop’ to secure it into place. This is perfect for anyone who wants to fit a door knocker, but is worried about damaging their door by drilling bolts through. For more information, click here.

Silver Award Winner – Best Security Product

Re-pinning kitThe MAX6MUM SECURITY identity card slot is the ultimate security accessory for protection against rogue traders and bogue callers. It enables the homeowner to check the ID of a caller without the need to open the door – they simply lift up the sliding latch on the inside to allow the caller to slip their ID through. By having this, it reduces the akward fumbling that occurs when trying to receive the ID through the letterbox, and also prevents the user from bending down, which is a huge advantage if they have a bad back. The ID slot acts as a visual deterrant for would-be criminals; it shows them that the homeowner is aware of and prepared for bogus callers.
