Gold Anodised Flap & Black Frame - 12" Framemaster Fire Check Letterplate (40/80 Depth)
Our 12” Fire Check Letterplate comes with an intumescent
lining that expands against the heat radiated from a fire; this fills any holes
preventing the risk of fire spreading for 60 minutes. Non-heat absorbing
washers are also used to hold the attaching metal fixings to stop heat transfer
from the metal plate to the surrounding door.
The letterplate is also Anti-Vandal™ making it the perfect
choice for anyone concerned with home security. The letterplate has four major
Anti-Vandal™ features:
Anti-Burglar:
blind bolts to the exterior prevent the outer frame being unscrewed from
the door externally
Anti-Vandal:
outwards facing brushes mean better draught proofing, easier posting and
they prevent vandals placing unwanted items in the cavity
Anti-Snap
Flap: internal water seal prevents water getting into the door or panel
and ultra-flexible springs withstand thousands of openings without
breaking
Anti-Scratch
Frame: matt coated frame conceals scratches that may be caused by
screwdrivers during installation
The letterplate has outward facing brushes, this means
better draught proofing which can save energy and money. The outward facing brushes
also prevent vandals from putting unwanted objects, such as fireworks, into the
cavity.
This letterplate will replace most 300mm (12”) letterplates
and is suitable for wooden and composite doors with a thickness of 40-80mm.
