A Great Weekend- MLA Expo 2011

A Fantastic Weekend For The Locksmithing World

What a brilliant show. We would like to thank the industry experts that joined us on our stand including Chris Belcher, Les Burgess, Martin Pink and Nigel Tolley who proved popular with visitors, many of which bagged some handy tips on their new tools. We were also joined by our American friends Jim Broadhurst and Jim Hetchler, along with our
Chinese colleagues Queenie and Hattie.

The Lishi 2-in-1 Guide and the EPG2 were a hit and the EPG2 sold out
twice over the weekend despite our efforts to restock after the first day.Our
new products also went down a treat with the Letterbox tool also selling out,
but don’t worry they’re all back in stock and available on our website www.tradelocks.co.uk or by calling 0161 763 5290.

How Quick Can You Pick?

We set all you wonderful Locksmiths a challenge this weekend of who could pick the lock in our door in the fastest time using a Pickgun. Many people that entered the competition were first time users of the EPG2 and most managed to open the lock within 20 seconds.

Congratulations to Mark Funston from North West Emergency Locksmiths Ltd who won an EPG2, he managed to open our lock in just 0.31 seconds!!!

New Products

We are always updating our tool range and some of our newest products were a huge
hit at the exhibition. The Les Burgess Curtain Turner is a simple yet effective tool for
opening a lock from the outside when a key has been left in the lock on the
inside of a property, made from stainless steel, this super strong,
non-destructive tool is ideal for opening the lock from the outside.

New tools from the Signature Range also proved popular including Martin
Pink’s Letterbox Tool
, Nigel Tolley’s Plug Puller and Chris Belcher’s 110 Decoder.

If you didn’t get your hands on these at the Expo visit our webiste: www.tradelocks.co.uk
