Welcome to Vol.3 of picking and decoding the BMW HU100R door lock series using the Genuine Lishi pick and decoder. Check out Vol.1 and Vol.2 of this series guide to find out more information.
Decoding the HU100R door lock
We are using a twin lift tool, so we will decode in the same direction that we picked. To do this, we must position the reading arrow on the lifting arm on each numbered line in turn. We then move it along the line in the same direction as picked and push past the spring until it comes to a full stop. It will stop on one of the numbered lines on the right side grid one to four – this reading is your key cut in that position.
So, with our lock held in the open position, we work from position one to eight and decode our lock:
Position one decodes as a number one key cut.
Position two decodes as a number four key cut as expected.
Position three decodes as a number four key cut as expected.
Position four decodes as a number four key cut as expected.
Position five decodes as a number two key cut.
Position six decodes as a number two key cut.
Position seven decodes as a number three key cut.
Position eight decodes as a number three key cut.
So, we have decoded our lock which gives us a key to cut from bow to tip in positions one to eight of “14442233” simply input this on the correct IC card to cut the perfect key.
